The climate in Coorg is that of a highland's with no extreme variations. It is generally cool and wet. It receives heavy rainfall between June to September making it a paradise for the honey-mooners and nature lovers. Coorg gives way to the tender showers from October to December, during which it is covered with mist almost all the time.

November to January marks the coldest months in Coorg, with the daytime maximum temperatures that range at an average of 7° to 20°C. April and May are normally the warmest months in Coorg, with temperatures at an average 29°C.
Visibility
Coorg often enjoys great visibility, although hill fog restricts the visibility sometimes. Apart from its perfect weather, Coorg even attracts religious importance for pilgrims. Talacauvery, from where the river Cauvery originates is in Coorg and the town of Bhagamandala where the rivers Kanika, Sujyoti and Cauvery merge (called the Sangam) are the popular religious attractions.
